Terrific Tuscany
Went to Tuscany for 10 days, and the location or our villa allowed us to visit Cortona, Arezzo, Monte San Savino, Radda en Chianti, Siena, Pisa, Florence, and Lucca.

Polaroid Fuji Transfers
Using the process of wet transfers (polaroid) and dry transfer (fuji 100c) a rather cool, ethereal, dreamy effect comes out in this alternative photographic process. One can no longer buy the polaroid film, but can still do the Fuji transfers...which is much hard to make come out nice. These were done with slide photo projected onto instant film emulsion. Fuji transfers done in dark on non-sized bristol board.

Climbing Mt Kilimanjaro
A group of us went to climb Mt Kilimanjaro. Unfortunately I got terrible food poisoning just 24 hours prior, and unrecovered decided to do the climb anyhow. I was quite miserable and sick the entire way, and it is clear how sick by the final photos at the top. But, our entire group made it! These photos are a mix of those taken by both Axel Estable and myself.

Camping with the Maasai
Near Loitokitok we had the wonderful opportunity to camp with the Maasai for a few days. We were able to stay in their village and spend the days with the Maasai, including a visit to their school. While they have so little in modern amenities many had mobile phones and sat around the fire at night texting, which we found quite funny. Many in Africa still hold the belief that a photo takes a part of their soul, and they really don't like having their photo taken. We are very respectful of this, and therefore all people shots were only taken with permission. These photos are a mix of those taken by both Axel Estable and myself.

Safari in the Masai Mara
The first thing we did when we got to Kenya was to drive to Masai Mara with our guide Helen, and an excellent driver, Richard. We did two days of safari in Masai Mara and had the excellent chance of seeing both a leopard and a cheetah! The photos were taken by Axel Estable (Canon digital SLR) and myself (Nikon digital SLR). We've mixed them up to make one album.
