14:52 - The task was to fly to the Pointe Percee and back to Annecy via Sur Cou and Parmelan
14:53 - Looking left at the Tete a Turpin as I approach Mont Lachat de Thones
14:52 - Passing over the edge of Thones
14:57 - Following Damien and Pascal (red glider in the distance) along the Mont Lachat de Thones - Nice cloud above the summit but as usual, it was hard work to get up because of the wind
15:23 - Leaving the cloud above Mont Lachat on glide for the Tete du Danay
15:24 - Passing near Grand Bornand
15:40 - Climbing above the Tete du Danay, next to Les Confins
15:41 - There is still a lot of snow on the Aravis so getting above the Pointe Percee is going to be difficult
16:02 - Climbing very slowly next to Mont Charvet
16:09 - Damien gets as much height as possible before flying to the Pointe Percee. He couldn't get above it but he did get just beyond the summit.
16:35 - I didn't try to visit the Pointe Percee and instead I headed back across the Aravis towards the Aiguille Verte (2045m)
16:37 - Passing the Col de la Colombier
16:38 - Arriving at the Aiguille Verte - because it is quite late I found that the north west face was working
16:59 - Looking back at the Bargy, the Pointe Blanche (2437m) and the Pic de Jallouvre (2408m)
16:59 - Passing high above the altisurface du col de Cenise
16:59 - I watched Damien get low on the Pointe d'Andey and decided not to follow him - he made it back to Annecy though it was really rough along to the Parmelan
17:10 - Getting high again above the Pic de Jallouvre - I lost focus at this point and headed to the wrong side of the Mont Lachat de Thones
17:49 - With the predictable result that I was flushed down into St Jean Sixt with a very strong tail wind!
