They have a special collection of the preservation and conservation efforts of their large rare book collection.

On the way to lunch with the director of the Fashion Technology Library, we pass some interesting new architecture.
This unusual building is under construction near the olympic site. It is the Chinese National Television Building (CCTV).
The stange shaped building is a hotel building. It is shaped like a torch and will house dignitaries during the Olympics.
This is the olympic stadium under construction. It is called the "bird's nest".
The hotel building is on the left and the apartments for olympic athletes are on the right. We were told that these are all sold and will be lived in by Beijing citizens after the Olympics.
