Terry at the site of the house the Jean Moulin, the French Resistance leader in World War II lived. It was just down the street from our apartment on Rue des Plantes
Here is a closeup of the plaque about Jean Moulin
The site is now a new apartment building.
This is the apartment building in the 14th that Lenin lived in while in Paris on Rue Marie Rose
Here is a closer shot of #4 where Lenin lived.
Here is the house where Henry Miller lived when he wrote his Tropic of Cancer book
A closer view of 101 Rue de la Tombe Issoire
Or was it 101 bis that Henry Miller lived? So there are two side by side houses
The charming street, Villa Seurat, is just off the Rue de la Tombe Issoire

The back of the architect Corbusier's house in Paris.
Anther view of corbusier's house
Behind Corbusier's house is a beautiful street, Sq. de Mountsouris, with charming houses
Eunice determines from the posting on the fence that this house is owned by a sculptor
Across the street is another chaming house with a “smart” compact car that fits the drive.
Eunice suspects this may be the house Braque lived in, although there is no marker
Eunice at the end of Braque Street
Braque street is located across from Montsouris Park. According to one tour book, Lenin considered this his “private park” where he would go to think when he lived in Paris
Today Lenin would have to stop thinking at 7:30pm, since the park closes then.
The front of the house Corbusier designed in Paris.
Note the “flatiron” design of Corbuiser's house.
Eunice bringing bread home from the backery. We eat several times at the Moulin Vert restaurant and purchased our baked goods at it's bakery on the left.

The next day we walked to the Latin Quarter to find the apartment where James Joyce finished editing Ulysses after drafting it in Trieste.
James Joyce's apartment was two doors down this private street
Eunice looks at the sign at #74 that indicates that Ernest Hemingway lived here.
He lived here in 1920
The shop below the apartment where Hemingway lived is now called “Under Hemingway”
