Gifts from Grinnell United Methodist Church

Grinnell United Methodist Church's missions committee presented Trinity with gifts in celebration of the centennial of Trinity's building - 105 pounds of beans, 154 pounds of rice and over $700 were given by the Grinnell Sunday School. Kim Gilbert made the presentation during the morning worship service

Organ Benefit Recital

Dr, Davis Folkerts played a benefit concert on the Hinners Organ(1910) at Trinity United Methodist Church. Dr. Folkerts is Professor Emeritus of Central College. Mark Shultz played an introductory selection and accompanied the congregation in two old favorite hymns.

Des Moines University, Mercy College of Health Sciences, Free Clinics of Iowa, Catholic Worker House and Trinity/Las Americas teamed up on November 20, 2010 to offer a health clinic that offered flu and pneumonia shots and exams/screenings. More than 50 flu shots were administered.
