first step is to create a template for the 7/8" SS tubing that will act as a support for the aft end of the bimini. I thought this would be a simple task, but there are many variables - cannot interfere with the main sheets, must have the correct slope to shed water, must extend beyond the cockpit combing, must be aesthetically appealing, etc.
Time to create a simple prototype to ensure the new supports will not interfere with the main sheet.
