Golia: Fresca Estate. Means "fresh summer". Licorice and mint hard candies. These things are REALLY DELICIOUS and fun.
Golia: Fresca Estate!
Friendly kitty #2 (Perugia), but this dude required a gelato bribe. Once bribed, however, he followed us for a block or two.
Ass.
All we did was ride the train all day. I felt bad that I had no pics to upload, and we were bored.
I see now that maybe I should just not feel so bad on days where there aren't any pictures to take.
Bored, but with less "F-U".
Ooooh! More light and shadow! I really should quit my day job, huh?
Yup. Booooooooored.
Elly Eye.
Branden Eye.
This picture is totally adorable and I'd frame it if it weren't so blurry.
Elly Nose.
Elly Teeth.
Ooooooh. This is what happens when you trick the camera focus. I'm totally pro now, I swear. You see, its like, the day was a blur too, see? This is, like, we're on a train, and its all like "whoa", like, real deep ya know? Not only are her surroundings blurry, and, like, she's blurry, but the photographer, right? This is WHAT HE SEES, see? Its like... like the whole world is like a total blur. Wow. This is a commentary on how the act of travel itself distorts your view of the world. Totally deep. Editor Elly's Note: "Its has an apostrophe."
Europe uses a lot of iconography to bridge the language gap. Elly and I completely agree that this icon perfectly captures "Do not open before the train has come to a complete stop." Lulz.
This is a view from the Florence train station. See people in lower right for scale.
11! That means sleep time.
The hotel room door key is ALSO a key that activates the electricity in the room. That big dangly bit is just a bumper to keep it from scratching up the wall. The cool part is the rubber-handled key that plugs into the magic light-making hole. Spiffy.
