A European Oyster and an Eastern Oyster retrieved during the dive. European Oysters were accidentally released into Massachusetts waters sefveral years ago. They look like a cross between an oyster and a scallop. They also tend to live in deeper waters than our Eastern Oysters (Crassostrea Virginica)
