Here's the house that we're renting in South Bend
The back of the house
The backyard and the garage
Sara and Mason, both happy to finally be at our new home.
Mason and Lola, also happy to have finally arrived at our new home in South Bend.
This three bedroom house--with beautiful wood floors, a garage, a washer/dryer, and tons of storage space in the basement--cost about the same as our small two bedroom apartment in Sacramento.
This room will be my study room
This is still in the study room

The basement
We just use the basement for storage
We love not having to leave our house to do laundry!
Sara and Mason, along with the cars we drove. Both the Honda and the Jeep made it with no problems. The 6' x 12' Uhaul trailer was the perfect size for all our stuff. The Jeep averaged 13.5 mpg, while the Honda averaged about 35 mpg. We are now looking to sell the Jeep since I'll be riding my bike to school.
Our neighborhood is actually pretty nice
Our living room after we unpacked and babyproofed everything (which took about 1.5 weeks)
My study room. I found a very nice, inexpensive piece of carpet at Home Depot and decided to put that in this room.
Looking out of our bedroom into Mason's room. I designed and installed that curtain thing. We use that when we put Mason to sleep so that we can walk to our room without being seen by Mason when he's supposed to be sleeping.
