I don't remember why he was grumpy for this picture (maybe he just woke up).

A true Mason at work
These are pictures of Baby Mason's new sibling -- we don't know yet if it's a boy or a girl. The two on the bottom were taken at about 5 weeks, and the tree on the top were at about 12 weeks.
(5 weeks)
(12 weeks) We now know it's a boy, and we will likely name him Joshua.
This is the last picture we have of him in this "pack-n-play" crib. He recently learned how to climb out of it, so we had to get him a real crib. (Approx. 2 yrs, 4 months)
Mason (and Elizabeth) at Grandma and Grandpa's .(Christmas Break, 2009-2010)
Early in the morning. Mason loves to be held and seems to notice when we're paying attention to other things (such as books).
Mason loved his new Sesame Street restaurant so much, he had to sleep next to it.
This is the helmet Mason wears when he goes to lacrosse practice with Sara.
Mason loves books about trains.
Surprisingly, I made this. It's some mediterranean dish that's made with goat cheese, olives, some other type of cheese, and various other ingredients. It was pretty good.
Mason was having a hard time letting me study this morning, so I tried to do some work while holding him. It's really hard to do both at the same time.
Mason is sad that I'm in the bathroom. Lately I've been having to sneak off to school when he's not looking because it really upsets him when he sees me leaving. Things ran smoothly for the first week or so, but after awhile he started to notice the pattern, and he would get really upset when I would go into another room without him.
Mason visiting the fire department in South Bend (along with other kids in his playgroup)
I think he looks a little nervous here.
The two kids in red bumped heads, and Mason is trying to run away to get back in the fire truck.
Mason is holding his favorite toy car in his right hand--he seriously takes that everywhere with him (even to bed).
Mason looking up to daddy (literally)
Mason helping mommy with her seminary lesson
He LOVES his yellow blanket.
Mason with his new chalkboard ("plala" is how he says "plane").
Another work of art by Mason & dad
Yet another fine work of art by Mason. I can just picture people pointing to this one day and saying, "Wow, is that an authentic Mason Gardner? . . . It must be worth a fortune!"
Mason's new crib. We bought this after he figured out how to climb out of his "pack-n-play" crib.
Mason enjoying his new (more roomier) crib
Mason and mommy, with mommy trying (unsuccessfully) to stay out of the picture :-)
