My half of the table at the convention. I didnt get much traffic, given my spot in the layout, but the traffic I did get was really cool.
I blew up a few of my commissioned sketch cards and stuck them to the wall behind my half of the table. Like 99% of the people who stopped to look at my work, loved the Peter as Spiderman card. Ive had a lot of positive feedback on this card from the moment I first posted it online. With the commissioners permission, Ive decided to redraw the scene on a 9 x 12 and sell prints of it. :)
I was displaying ten pages of my Marvel Masterpieces sketch card set and ten pages of my Hellboy Animated series set.
Random page in my portfolio.
Some promo I printed out to have something colourful to give away at the show.
During the convention, I inked and coloured Vegeta, Raph and Mickey. That evening, I completed Donny and Leo.
I had penciled a few cards before the con date. I inked and coloured them at the event. This is Vegeta, from DragonBall Z.
This guy was selling LOADS a trading card sets from past and present times. It was awesome to see so many different sets!
My boyfriend was taking the pictures. Can you tell? ;)
Towards the end of the show, the 2 guys next to me had to leave, so I spread out, oh yeah.
Finishing up the energy beam on the Goku card.
I was lucky enough to meet a really cool kid who loves DragonBall. He commented on my Vegeta card and we chatted about the book vs tv series for a while. When he left my table, I thought it would be cool to draw him a DBZ card. So I got up, found him and offered. He said yes, so I drew and voilĂ ! This is the card I drew for him.
