Lazy River goes into one side-line pool. Three hot tub like whirl pools are within the middle. The bubbles and flow is quite strong.

A whirl pool sucks folks into its vortex! This is part of the not-so lazy river.
The 50-meter lap pool at QEII. It is all 2-meters deep with 10 lanes and a movable bulkhead. There are 20 short course lanes. The aqua joggers are using the near lanes.
Lazy river in the foregound spills into the main leisure pool -- that has waves (not showing now). The lifeguard is at the transition of lazy river and bigger leisure pool. Waves come from the far (not visible) right side. Zero depth is to the left (not visible). Lighted hallway (back right) leads to the lockerrooms. Plenty of family changing rooms are available too.

Lazy River's edge to the right -- leisure pool ahead. Within the lesiure pool is a pirate boat with mini slides (presently blocked) for kids 8 and younger.
Adult hot tub and a pool for kids and parents under the age of 5.
Diving well and water polo course. Depth is 5 meters. Tower height is 10-meters. Behind the wall is a fitness center.

Hydro slides -- presently closed. The tubes end in one area and the rest of the slide (tubes) are outside the building.

Leisure pool has an island that has just inches of water (ankle deep).
Behind the lifeguard is the pirate ship as part of the leisure pool.

Interesting decorations fill the space. This face looks down upon the leisure pool. Behind are the shoots that terminate the hydro slides. The far wall, after picnic tables, leads to outdoors. Back but more to the right is the competition pool. The decorations are only around the leisure pool area.
Lighting features are throughout. Cameras too.
Control desk at the back of the competition pool near the divide to the lesure pool. This would be a great place for meet computers to set up and operate.
Message board shows activities in the 20-lane competition pool. Swim club practices are generally booked for all of the lanes at the south end of the pool. In the afternoons, swim clubs also book lanes on the other side as well. Often 14 lanes are used by the kids for swim team activities.
Float tube - simple - free - available. Nice for the leisure pool and the lazy river.

Deck space on the 50-meter pool has good sunlight. The leisure pool is straight ahead and through that opening -- larger than a garage door.

Methane gas is being harvested from a local dump to be used to heat the swim pool water. A tank is visible from inside the swim pool's back doors.

South end of the competition pool. The lane line markers are not the same as in the states. There is still a 'red zone' however.

Lane 9 is the end of the road. It is a 10 lane pool.
Water polo area in the deep pool. A net is placed at the end of the pool to handle the balls. These are practice goals.
The water polo goal is on the edge of the water, with a white rectangle. However, look up and see the goal for the canoe water polo. Ait is a red and white square that is bigger than a basketball backboard. A net catches the scored ball and drops it down. Another net stretches the length of the pool to catch missed shots.

Hydro Slider -- Erik. The yellow slide is all in the dark. You can't see anything. Then in the evening, the other slides are very, very dark too.

The players toss a water polo ball, while in a kayak, wearing helmets and facemasks, while the others block shots and passes with their paddles and then scramble their boats to the ball. Pushing, flipping, tipping, bashing is all part of the game -- mostly.
Edge of the goal is visible in the photo to the far left. Player in center has the ball in two hands. Defender drives his boat up the back of the ball handler's boat who seems to have dropped his paddles forward. Another team is getting set on the deck in the distance.
