Head Coach David C. Salo, Ph.D. of the USC Trojans Mens Swim Team in his first year with Mark Rauterkus of Pittsburgh, PA. Photo was taken after the meet with Stanford. Coach Salo authored a book, SprintSalo, published by Rauterkus' imprint in 1989. David hopes to be earn a slot as a USA Olympic Coaching Team again in 2008.

We were headed from Jordan to Central, then to the ferry to Discovery Bay (pier 4), then bus to the apartment on the 11th floor (via elevator). Meanwhile, NYC issued a 'red alert' for possible terror activities on the other side of the world.
