Concept Fullsized Bike, ultra-protable
Full sized wheel behind super compact Brompton. This shows that full-sized wheels are compact enough. If the whole frame could fit inside a these wheels it would be a round smooth package - BUT as it would then be low down, and it would still need to be lifted and carried - unless, it had a handle to roll it ............
Just like luggage

Testing IF Mode (a tough job that someone has to do !)
Typical target use
Patented, 3-Dimensional, 4 bar-Link, with tensioned link and tension rods (as used in IF Urban, Cross & IF Reach). This mechanism is the 2nd development as a lower cost version for more conventional frames.
3D - 4Bar link bearings
Early CAD animation - IF Urban mechanism - based on IF Mode with conventional frame and components.
Never carry - roll (on 700c full sized wheels). Folded IF-Urban & Cross concept
Early CAD concept drawing - IF Urban700c
Prototype - mechanism being added to conventional frame

Prototype Stem Parts
Early IF Urban Folding Frame
Compact Full-sized frame next to benchmark Brompton (excellent 16" wheel folding bike)
All parts between handle & wheels - this gives minimum envelope, and puts a handle in the best position to roll the bike. ie "a wheel + a handle"
Early Prototype, with special wheels
Josh Testing early frame

Mark testing
Stop after the climb - before the fun downhill. Testing a folding bike as a folding mountain bike.
