Near the first nights campground.
Chattooga River, close to camp site #1.
A spider that I spotted while focusing the previous shot. I was just trying to see how well I could focus in on such a tiny object so far away.
A snail that was right above my hammock's tree huggers.
This rock extended 3/4ths of the way across the river. It made for great views up and down the river as it allowed me to walk to the middle of the river.
Downstream from the "big rock". There was an older gentlemen further down on the left who was catching trout left and right.
Up stream from the "big rock".
Who shoots up a trail sign... seriously?
A nice little rapid... I was tempted to jump in above it and ride it down.
Big Bend Falls. I couldn't get closer with out swimming.
Zoom in of Big Bend Falls. You could hear and feel the power of this fall from up above on the trail and at river level. The "spur" trail down to it was a little dicey, but it was definitely worth the trouble.
The Foothills Trail tends to make me smile as well... though I think something else is the cause for this guy.
King Creek Falls - a super easy hike from Burrells Ford Campground. Well worth it. The perfect place for a post hike cool down.
The little pool in front of the falls was awesome, especially with the spray/mist coming off of the falls.
Bad Creek Reservoir from Wiginton Road.
