11-19 Bare Blade
Treachery and sneakiness were the rules of the day at the Bare Blade Tavern. A most entertaining and fun day, thanks to Don Fraser, autocrat, and Mistress Mercedes, game master. Though I could not fence, I had a ton of fun marshaling and watching the silliness! So wonderful to have so many friends from away as well!
Vivat to Lord Nevell, winner of Most Treacherous Swine, for his manipulation of the cashflow into the Bank of Nevell. Vivat to Sir Ivan, roving res point, and winner of Best Death, for a flailing, firey display. Vivat to Don Jordan, winner of the basket, second place only to the winner of the Deed to the Tavern in points.
The winner of the Deed to the Bare Blade Tavern is none other than Their Majesties of the East! Thanks to the cunning manipulations and tax collection of the Countess of Bad Ideas, the lovely Margurite Ingen Lachlann, the Tavern is now under Crown control. Perhaps their Majesties will see fit to visit next year!
