Short Visit EL SALVADOR (Photos F.B. SWITZERLAND)
Ferenc, son of our friends' family from Bischofszell, Switzerland, made the photos during their (first) visit to El Salvador. They were on their way to Costa Rica, where they had to do business. It was a for all very rewarding week. You see them in talks in the town hall and -waiting- in the public hospital San Juan de Dios, Santa Ana, in the Teatro Nacional, on the Mayan temple sites of Tazumal in Chalchuapa incl. neighbouring cemetary and botanic walk, , in the church SHEKINA (playing recorder with me accompanying on my flute), El Sauce (coffee roasting, recreation pool), in la Majada, handicrafts in Apaneca (waving), on the Lake Cuatepeque and in the Coffee fincas including the high up Olimpo with return in a tremendous storm, flooding the Panamericana, on which we were returning. The series is inedited, absolutely not changed (Ferenc, Doctor of Sociology, has an important state position in Switzerland, his parents are very successful business people).
