This big lion got so close to our car (half a meter or less) it really scarred us. We never understood why they don't attack tourists in the cars. The car is open on the top so it's so easy for a lion.

The beaches of Zanzibar (I was in Nungwi) are probably the best ones I've ever seen. Not only because of the white sand and tourquoise warm water but also because it's not so touristic, with very few resorts. The beaches are public and the tourists mix with the local people, fishermen, etc.
