Help For heroes - at Villanueva del Trabuco, Spain 5th/6th March 2009
The band of army chaps passed through our village on a long journey riding old Harley Davidson motorcycles. Lots of running repairs needed. All to raise more money for the Help for Heroes Charity. We raised money (organised quiz nights and suchlike, mainly by Trudi and Paul Leach, Brits who live in the village) and this was on their return visit back from North Africa (where they needed police escorts due many problems) and they were housed locally for the night and this was their evening meal laid on at local Brit bar, followed by breakfast and getting things ready the next. I made sure everyone had a group shot photo to take away and posted this so their families could see them online. morning.
