WRT54GL zip-tied into Rootenna, lid about to go on
Sealed Rootenna showing CAT5 waterproof socket
First step to making the POE injector, cut one end off a patch lead and peel out the blue and brown pairs
solder the brown pair together and then to the outside of a 2.1mm socket that suits the Linksys plug pack, then solder the blue pair together and to the center pin
Bit dark, but this shows putting heat-shrink tubing over the connector, and then two layers of smaller tubing over the orange and green pairs that go to their usual home in the RJ45
Same thing, brighter, but out of focus. suck.
Close-up of the orange and green pairs going into the RJ45. You need to put two layers of heat-shrink on the pairs to make them fat enough to grip in the RG45 plug
