CPU Details
Motherboard with RAM and CPU fitted
Backplate for the Thermalright HR-01 Plus
Test fit of HR-01
The lid *just* fits
I've taped up the extra holes in the front and the side of the chassis so that all the air comes in the front fan, and then out via the rear fan and PSU
CoolPC was generous enough to give me a duct from a HR-01, even though I got a HR-01 Plus that doesn't usually come with one. I didnt bother with any clips or tape on the duct as its pretty firmly wedged in place anyways. The Noctua NH-U12P is very quiet, however it would be great if they made PWM 120mm fans so that the BIOS fan controls worked.
Finished. All the cards (Haupauge dual tuner, Asus audio and GECube HD3870) in place.
FInished.
I've added a Jaycar 40mm fan to the NB heatsink, I had to mount it a bit to the left because the heatsink is curved under the bit with the ASUS logo on it. I also moved the Noctua 120mm fan to the front of the case and put an Arctic Cool PWM fan in the back so it works on the 4 pin CPU Fan header.
