I then begin the process of pinning down sections of the wool and felting it into the fabric backing. The original fabric backing will barely be visible in the end.
I found some large glass beads that were flat on the back. I glued them on randomly as they reminded me of drops of rain.
I wanted to cover some of the beads, so using scraps of tulle, silk and netting, I sewed these materials over the beads. Everything in this quilt is meant to represent veiled truths and attempts of clarity, over shadowed by fogginess.
Added raw sheep wool, giving it more of a cloudy feel.
Decided it needed some colour. Added some green felting. I was feeling more optimistic at this point.
Added another black boarder. It still requires binding
