Holy Unction - СОБОРОВАНИЕ
On Holy Wednesday, April 20, the sacrament of Holy Unction was celebrated at the Three Saints Russian Orthodox Church in Garfield New Jersey. Archpriest George Konyev, rector, co-served by Hiermonk Stephen (Bushman), anointed a great multitude of people with the oil of gladness. In his sermon, Fr George explained the significance of the Holy Unction Service and the history of the service for all Orthodox believers.
