Resort History
Sidney Kibrick portrayed 'Woim' in the Our gang comedies of the early 1930s. In later life Sid became a real estate developer. One of his projects was an RV Resort in the desert near Palm Springs in a community called Cathedral City. There he built an RV Resort with many amenities which opened on October 20, 1984. Phase II opened January 17, 1988. Desert Shadows RV Resort still thrives today with 455 sites. Placed at a reunion, the Our Gang kids' handprints are preserved in concrete around the main flagpole.
