Paraguay Spring 2009
Pictures (mostly dark, sorry) from the Spring parade in Isla Ro'y. The school's theme was Eirete Arapotype (Honey in spring) and I let the kids use my bee equipment for their display. The kids made bee and humming bird costumes and carried the queen bee on a little float platform with a bee hive on the back and the kids would let down the float, open up the fake hive, start smoking with their real smokers (the kids loved this) and the bees would buzz around and sting them with their cardboard stingers. They won 1st first (of 2 floats) in the parade!
