Moonlight in Tahiti

I love my Canon 5D Mark II and 50mm f1.2 lens. It can take a picture in virtual darkness. Keep in mindind that these photos were take hand-held with no tripod.

Moorea, Tahiti is the most beautiful place I have been. The people were very nice and there is no crime. These photos were taken with a Canon 5D Mark II using either a 50mm f1.2L or 24mm f1.4L lens.

ZOEY FROM TAIWAN

Zoey is a rescue dog from Taiwan. She has lived with us for several years now. "Zoey", "Mister Puppy" the Tibetan Mastiff and "Archie" the Border Collie are DaveTheDogTrainer's demo dogs and assist him during dog training lessons. Zoey is very loving and keeps Dave's other dogs in check. These dogs are very bonded and have formed a well-integrated hunting group.

The Day After the World Was Supposed To End

Rev. Harold Camping said the world was going to end yesterday and that there would be rapture and an apocalypse. Nothing became of it and we are still here training dogs. "Mister Puppy" the Tibetan Mastiff is 17 weeks old and is accompanied on this outing by "Truman" the Parson's Jack Russell Terrier.

MISTER PUPPY-April 2011 - 13 wks.

Mister Puppy is a gentle, calm 13-week-old now. We love Mister Puppy because he sleeps through the night, whines to be let out, and knows "NO." He can also "Sit," "Down," and "Stay." He is great with people and dogs and has met several dozen people and dogs now. Our goal is for him to meet 100 different people and dogs by 16 weeks. Mister Puppy no longer jumps on people and does very little play-biting. He comes when called mostly and heels great with a leash dragging around the property. As he gets a older we will be a little more insistent and push him harder. As far as we are concerned, Mister Puppy is the best puppy ever.

HEARST CASTLE - San Simeon CA

Hearst Castle is a tough gig to photograph. The lighting is horrible, they rush you through the tour, and no flash or tripods allowed. My Canon 5D Mark II and 24mm 1.4L lens performed like a champ though. The location and antiquities were astonishing, especially the swimming pools, but we decided we like our house and our old junk. Old, dark and kind of depressing is really fun to visit though.

This pictures were taken January 17th and 18th, 2011 at Gigatone Records' Fantasy Camp in Sacramento. Also appearing are various guests, friends and talent.
