The Ribble upstream of London Road Bridge.It appears weeded and shallow in Summer,but here in high water plus thaw and spate.It was navigable once as pre WW2 the Preston Yacht Club was upstream of here....>
The Ribble curving down from Cuerdale to Walton at "Church Deeps".The Preston Yacht Club was upstream round the bend befrore ww2.There would be some groundings and maroonings nowadays,although today the river looks VERY FULL,but most uninviting
