Street Children in Juba
In Juba more and more children end up living on the street. In this album you can see them living in cardboard boxes on garbage dumps. One particular garbage dump used to be a graveyard. Cathy Groenendijk from Confident Children out of Conflict runs a drop-in centre for street girls to protect them as much as she can from violence, sexual abuse and hunger. Unfortunately she is currently lacking funds to build a proper centre with dormatories even though she has been allocated a plot.
