ARTIST PROFILE:
Shenkottai Sri Harihara Subramanian is a Carnatic musician and an NāmaSankīrtanam artist. He received his formal musical training from Sri Parameshwara Bhagavathar of Shenkottai, Tamilnadu. He took advanced training from Mridangam Maestro Sri Srimushnam Raja Rao and Musician Smt Padma
Chandilyan at Chennai.
Shenkottai Hari follows the Paddhati of Pudukottai Sri Gopalakrishna Bhagavathar. He is the
Astana Vidwan for Sri Sringeri Mutt. He had performed NāmaSankīrtanam in many prestigious places in India such as Alangudi, Palakkad, and Mumbai Asthika Samajam etc. He performs Radha Kalyanam, Seetha Kalyanam, Divyanaamam, Deepa Pradhakshinam to mention a few. He has been recognized by many leading music organizations. His NāmaSankīrtanam performances attract the rasikas of both Carnatic music and Sampradaya Bhajana rasikas. He has a post-graduate degree in Physics.
