Tom's NYC Challange
Dear Parents,
As I write this, the 5th graders are sailing along the Hudson on the Clipper City Tall Ship. I don't know if I've ever seen a group as excited as they were this morning! They gave themselves special "Challenge Nicknames" and were off for the day. So far they have gone to the 86th floor of the Empire State Building, taken a 4D tour of NYC, toured the Intrepid, eaten at Mr. Broadway, and are now on the Clipper City Tall Ship helping to raise the masts for their voyage.
After the ship, the will head over to Battery Park to have some downtime, then have dinner at Buddha Boddai in Chinatown, and will end with a 3D movie in the school gym! Everyone sounds happy and excited. They are taking plenty of pictures and we will share them soon!
We will see you at 9:30 tonight.
