Clear skies in the morning - Belvoir Park
Fountain in Belvoir Park
3 pillars. I liked the shadows cast by the sun on the grass.
Lake Zurich, looking towards central Zurich.

some cool old Swiss architecture
Central Zurich. The twin bell towers of Grossmunster Church dominate the skyline.

Heidi Weber House designed by Swiss architect Le Corbusier... Le Corbusier is one of the 20th century's most influential architects who spearheaded the modernist movement. This building is now a museum dedicated to his work.
Heidi Weber House - Le Corbusier Museum
Inside Le Corbusier Museum
View of back terrace overlooking the park.
I love how the sunlight streams through the detached roof. You can get a sense of Le Corbusier's love for raw concrete by this stairway... there's a reason some of Le Corbusier's buildings are known as “Brutalist” Architecture.
Corner of Heidi Weber House. The Modular Man statue is seen on the roof terrace.
Another view of the interior. Unfortunately the museum was closed until next summer... but the floor to ceiling windows on much of the 1st floor allowed me to see the inside.
Reflection of me in one of the windows of the Heidi Weber House
Corner of H-W House and the park.
Lake Zurich again. You can barely make out a hazy outline of the Alps in the background.
Zurich from the Lake. You can see all 3 major churches of Zurich in this shot: Grossmunster, Fraumunster, & St. Peter's
Approaching sunset over Lake Zurich
Sunset over Lake Zurich
Absolutely gorgeous view of the sunset. I love the whispy clouds giving texture to the sky.
So I really liked this sunset... Now with a speedboat
Birds at sunset in Zurich
Just look at that sky!
The only disappointment this day was that the Alps were covered in a haze all day. At sunset, they finally started to appear. You can barely see their silhouette in the background.
Boats on Lake Zurich.. looking South towards the Alps.
