Spirit Week 1/26/08 - 2/2/08
Each Year we have a Spirit Week where each day each class has a theme they dress to. This year we had Wacky Tacky Day, Color Day, Trend Day, Super Hero Day, and Spirit. Enjoy!

New Year's Day a group of us decided to sled. It was fun though I did not have proper footwear and my feet quickly got so cold that it was hard to enjoy the snow--other that, it was fun and a beautiful day.

Lock-In
To celebrate a two and a half week break, the secondary hosted a lock-in from 8 pm to 9 am. We had several activities throughout the night. One being a Gingerbread House competition. Another being a scavenger hunt. Yes, I took lots of pictures of the kids doing math. I thought it pretty great that as part of a planned activity created by students--they were writing equations--Great stuff!

Thanksgiving 2007
I enjoy Thanksgiving at the Illikainen's along with Jamie and Kara. It was a great time with lots of food. I stopeed by the House for a short time and said hello to folks there.
First Basketball Game 11-30-07
We had our first home game of the season. Our crowd is growing this year and our teams are off to a great start. The girls won and the boys played a good game though they did not win. I got a new camera and was playing with it learning how to take decent pictures...thus the unusual number of photos. As you will see, I am still learning the camera.

November USA Visit
My trip to the USA was just what I needed. I enjoyed my family and was reunited for a short time with my couches (I really love my couch...hence the pictures of me on my couch!) We decorated for Christmas while I was home and I just got to enjoy hanging out with my family. Check out Sweet-Sneider wedding for pictures of that.

November 10, 2007--My cousin Angela got married. I wish I had taken more pictures...but you know me...I don't really enjoy taking photos though I am working on it. My sister Shannon took hundreds...there's a link on my blog if you want to see them.
