Managed to get the limbs and top cut off the tree before dark.
But this is when I ran out of steam. Couldn't see very well and wasn't cutting effectively. I gave up that night . . . waiting for the next sunny day.
Finally got a sunny day, two weeks later! The main trunk pieces were located beside the house until I can get them split and stacked in back with the rest of the wood.
Any limb or twig smaller than 4" in diameter was cut into lengths 4' or less and jammed into the back of my truck. Soon to head over to the yard waste landfill to pay $3.00 to dump it.
This the finished project with the yard raked. Sure looks naked! You can still see the stump . . . that removal will be for someone with the right equipment.
Andrew asked to pose on the stump. He's holding his Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles video game that he wants us to play together.
Of course Evan also had to get into the act. He wields his new Spider-Man umbrella like a sword.
