Cavanaugh Flight Museum
Photos taken at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum in Addison, TX during a recent visit to see Christy's family. The aircraft here are are in the private collection of Mr. Jim Cavanaugh and nearly all are kept airworthy. Even those that are not are kept in immaculate condition. It was a real treat to see these old planes so well cared for! As my father-in-law and I were leaving, we were surprised by the approach of a familiar aircraft--a Douglas A-1E Skyraider that had come over from the nearby Joint Service airbase in Fort Worth. Many of these aircraft I was seeing up-close and personal for the very first time...I was a kid in a candy shop!

Melk
These were taken once we got off the train and before we hopped on the boat for the river cruise. If you stop at the Cafe Bimmer, I HIGHLY recommend the Cordon Bleu!

Kremz
Kremz was the final stop on our river cruise up the Danube from Melk. Unfortunately, I didn't get many pictures here because the battery on the camera was running low. Sorry!

Danube River Cruise
These were a series of photos taken on the way down the Danube from Melk to Kremz. Absolutely beautiful country! In case you're curious why a lot of photos seem to be of just random hillsides, I took a lot of pictures of the terraced farmland that folks set up there. Not sure why, I just find it fascinating.

Schönbrunn
These were shots taken on the grounds of the Schönbrunn palace. Unfortunately, you cannot take photos inside the palace. The grounds are truly immense and, while we didn't have enough time to really explore things, the majesty of the place was not lost on me.

Alisha and Brian's Office
We went to visit Brian and Alisha's mission office. They just finished painting. We took the U-bahn out, picked up a bus, then rode the S-bahn back to the U-bahn station.

U-Bahn
This was a series of photos I took during a busy day on the U-bahn subway system. We ended up having to get on another train because ours was too full; even then, we barely made it in the door of the next one!

Vehicles
I saw lots of neat bikes and cars while I was in Vienna and organized them into a single album. It amazed me how many microcars, SmartForTwo's and Four's, and others could be found in country. Mazda in particular needs to expand their US line!
