Nichrome wire heater directly round the nozzle - too much heat loss

Nichrome wrapped - -then covered in fire cement
Old ball mouse has two sets of opto-switches (lower set removed)
Replace the broken opto-switch with the components from the mouse
Tube from model shop - thin walled 5/32 inch tube is 3.1mm internal diameter - fits perfectly
filament fits nicely down the al and brass tubes. Plenty of tube to experiment with.
4 skate bearings for 5 quid.
Result! two heater blocks, pre-cut to size, for 25p!!!
10 x 30 x 30 mm should just be big enough for a couple of 7.5mm holes for resistors
