8mm PTFE and 8mm PEEK insulator with external m8 thread. Use a die on PEEK and a normal nut on PTFE.
M8 bolt drilled to 4.5mm. damage is caused by gripping with pliers to wind a bolt on each end.

reclaimed thermistor and nichrome from extruder version 2. Nichrome insulation still seems OK.
Cover in fire cement and shove in a thermistor
