Divya, Ashwin, Lakshmi, and Minakshi - at Ramangar railway station, planning for stuff. We had no bookings till now! It is 6:30 in the morning of 25th
It is around 10 Am and we have our stay for 2 nights in Dhikala. I am ready!
Saal Forest on the way to Dhikala
Female Sambar Deer and Kid. They are licking some nutrients from the tree root. (Some kind of salt)
Looking at crocodiles far far away. And this place was really beautiful
Trees without leaves sometimes make a more scenic view
Along the banks of ramganga river near Dhikala
Some of us are standing on bonut of gypsy, and rest on the seats
Spotted deers, later we heard Alarm call from the same set. This is in Bijrani zone
Pug marks of Tiger cub. This tiger had just came out (the marks are over the gypsy tyre mark hardly 15 minutes ahead of us.
Tusker Elephant, we are lucky to see one, as most of the groups migrate to raja ji national park near Haridwar during winters
Baby Monkey. It is really cute.
Baby monkey
Barking deer. This picture is the best full picture among many I took for the barking deer.
From Bijrani - rocks and sunshine - what a view!
This scene from Dhikala always astonishes me.It is from the big grassland near Dhikala (on the Car road). The group of leaf less trees make a view for sure.
Group of storks and the view!
Parent and kid wild boar in Dhikala
The Leopard. This shot is taken using the binoculars
This leopard had eaten a monkey before resting like this for hours.
One of the roads in the grasslands around Dhikala. These grasslands are perfect for Tigers to rest and prey. I am sure there were 3 - 4 Tigers around the Dhikala Campus. One can watch Tigers only when the cross the road or walk on the road. You are not permitted to go inside grassland.
Tiger's pugmarks are so elusive, we thought we would have ours too. Trying to take pictures of Minakshi's shoemark!
A Tree in Dhikala, Old but beautiful
