"It was a souvenir keyring with a plan of the roundabout on it that made me think about it from a psycho-geographical point of view. Its layout could represent an inverted pentagram, which could mean it acts as an accumulator for the negative energies that seem to bathe Swindon- especially considering the amount of frustration and confusion that must be radiated onto it from newcomers to our town trying to drive over it. The magic roundabout could easily be viewed as the psychic centre of Swindon!"

It may “only” be a traffic management system, but if you stand at the centre and look up the lamppost in the middle, it is an impressive sight."
