Rider's eye view
That better stop me
The business end
The other side
Looking good! Please, no comments about the valve caps and tyres not aligned ;)
Finally sees the light of day
Formula Oro K18
The other side is better. Looking more like a bike now with a pair of Schwalbe Tyres fitted to a pair of blade-spoke Mavic wheels. Rear Formula Oro K18 brake fitted.
It's better side. Shame about the dappled sun. Will get a better pic outdoors once it's finished.
Bontrager Stem and Bars in place, with XT Shifters and Ritchey grips. Nothing torqued up yet. Still need to affix brakes/levers before tweaking for comfort, and play with headset spacers before deciding how much fork steerer to lop off.
XT Front Mech and Chainset close up (still got alignment bits in place)
Rear XT Shadow Mech close up from behind
Rear XT Shadow Mech close up
Looking good! XT Front Mech and Falke Ergo Base Layer packaging make handy support to keep oily bits off the living room carpet.
Deore XT bits added (Front Mech, Rear Shadow Mech, BB/Chainset), plus Thomson Seatpin and Fizik Saddle
Closeup of Cotic Soul rear dropouts
Closeup of Magura Forks (nifty double arch)
Cotic Soul Frame, Magura Forks, Hope Headset, Bontrager Race X Lite Stem (loosely fitted)
Cotic Soul Frame and Magura Menja 100mm Forks (2008 model)
Cotic Soul MTB Frame (Large, delivered Dec 2007)
