Felucca is a traditional Egyptian sail boat. We will sail from Aswan to Kom Ombo and spend one night on the boat.
The felucca does not have an engine and sails on the wind only.
This is our service boat. The felucca stops to meet the service boat so we can dine and use the toilet aboard.
Service boat
Our fellow travellers swam in the Nile and I took a group photo of our cameras.
A sailing felucca.
Feluccas are not allowed to sail after sunset. The sail boat and the service boat stopped by the shore overnight, and we all slept on the deck. Even in June, hours before sunrise got pretty cool.
It was a beautiful day and a beautiful sail on the Nile.
