Boathouse
We were aiming for the zoo and parking was so bad that we somehow ended up at the boathouse. It ended up being quite a fun adventure. We biked the paddle boats, even though I'm out of shape and Carrie was wearing a skirt and flipflops - we survived, and found one of our favorite outdoor lunch places in town.

Othello in the Park
In the summer Forest Park (St Louis's Central Park) hosts Othello in the Park for free. We went to the early show, which nicely finishes before bed time. There are lots of other activities around while the preshow is going, like jugglers. It was fun.

We had a Dr Dr graduation party for Carrie, Lynn, and Emily. Twenty pounds of Jinx's pulled pork, a fire engine moon bounce, an ABC cake, lots more food, and lots of friends and family.

Allison's Birthday Weekend
Allison came up to visit Cville for her birthday weekend, along with Orion and Tutu. We went to the farmer's market, flew kites, went to the park, and when they left we went to Richmond for a conference.
