The Ox's Hump | Yettina Bhuja | Jan ' 10

Tucked away in the dense jungles of Charmadi Ghats, a peculiar peak resembling the Shoulder (Bhuja) of an Ox (Yettina) stands out in pride...My second venture with 'Team Adivaas' and this time the winding path leads to the heart of Western Ghats to 'Yettina Bhuja' or 'The Shoulder of the Ox'...With a steep rock face on one side and a gradual descent on the other the peak looks exactly like the hump of an Ox...Needless to say deciphering the route was as interesting as conquering the peak itself...Showcasing some of the unforgettable moments captured en-route ! :)

The Lost Trail | Ombattu Gudda | Dec ' 09

Wading our way through violent streams and pristine waterfalls..Cutting across thick jungles and thorny bushes..Not to forget the leech fest and silent vipers lurking around..Armed with GPS, Maps, Compass, Altimeter and what not we finally did conquer Ombattu Gudda..3 cheers for 'Team Adivaas' for the sheer determination when everything seemed lost..This was one of the most treacherous treks of my life..OG take a bow !

Himalayan Retreat | The Indrahar Trek | Sep ' 09

"Traveler's will cross many rivers and climb many mountains...Plainsmen may always live within a valley...But only those seeking truth will ever reach the summit."...The final climb to Indrahar Pass (4350 m above MSL) presented a magestic view of the Pir Panjal Range and Mani Mahesh Kailash...Needless to say the pain endured was traded for every inch of ascent...!
