This is from the incomplete Gulzar movie "Devdas". Paro was played by Hema Malini, Chandermukhi was played by Sharmila Tagore ( would have loved to see her in that role!) and Devdas was played by Dharmendra. It was said that the movie was shelved because people did not have faith in Darmendra and said that he would not be able to do justice to the role of Devdas, and I think Dharmendra wasn't into it to much either! So, subsequently Gulzar shelved, it feels really awful about it though! I think Dharmendra would have done a fabulous job as Devdas, cuz he's such a terrific actor who can emote very well! It would have been really interesting to see Gulazar's take on this beautiful classic story
Also from Gulzar's Devdas. I'm guessing Dina Pathak was essaying the role of Paro's mother.
