Speed Skate Canada Visits Affinity

Bird Count 2009

Vanessa and I volunteered out time and one of our Voyageurs to participate in the 2009 Bird Count. We paddled in the cold and snow for 2 hrs with a stellar crew of birders and naturalists. The wildlife and scenery shots are courtesy of Dave Polster.

Cowichan Recyclist Day!

Vanessa and I were asked to pretend we were Aaron and Katie of the Cowichan Recyclists. We did there bicycle powered recycling pick-ups for them this week so they could enjoy a trip to mexico. Boy did they pick a good time to not ride a bike and trailer!
