HINARI training workshop was held at the British Council, Freetown, Sierra Leone with funding from WHO, Cardiff University- Wales, Partnerships in Health Information (Phi), DIFID/ British Council DelPHE Project- Community Health Information for Poverty Alleviation in Sierra Leone in collaboration with College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences- University of Sierra Leone. The workshop was conducted from 17 – 19 March 2008. This workshop was a culmination of an idea from Shane Godbolt, Dr Alison Weightman and Nance M'jamtu-Sie.
