USA vs Honduras World Cup Qualifier June 2009
Emily and I took a trip to Chicago to see the USA men's soccer team play Honduras in a World Cup qualifying match. The game was at soldier field and there were over 55,000 people in attendance, the second largest W.C.Q. attendance on US soil. Emily had the 1st row 50 yard line seat (best seat in the house) and I sat next to her, the US was down 0-1 and scored a goal before the half, and then scored another goal about 25-30 minutes in the second half to hold on and win it. We met some great guys that sat behind us and made the game all the more enjoyable and we are planning on heading back to Chicago to see a Chicago Fire game with them next month!
