"no.. they are not. Pancharathram and Vaikanasam are 2 different agamas that are followed in most of the south indian vaishnava temples. Examples of vaikasana agama temples are Thiruvallikeni (chennai) which is Thenkalai and Thiruvaheendrapuram which is vadakalai.

Examples of temples using Pancharatra agamam is Sri Rangam (Thenkalai) and Kanchi Varatharaja Temple (Vadakalai).

As such, in these 2 different agamams, there are both thenkalai and vadakalai Sampradayam. Hope this helps.. :)"
