Hey everyone! It's me, Wendy. I wanna tell you all about my spa day with NewMom.
I got undressed and wrapped up in a bath towel. I felt a little exposed!
Then I got to lay with my head in the wash basin. It was a little nerve wrecking, but I could smell the shampoo, so I didn't mind too much.
Then new mom covered my face with the towel and started to wet my hair. She didn't want me to get any water in my face or eyes.
Then she lathered me up. It smelt really nice!
Then after she washed up the shampoo, I got to stretch out while NewMom combed out my tangles. I felt so dramatic!
Then she even trimmed away a few split ends. At first when I saw her coming at me with the scissors I was scared, but she reassued me it was a trim and not a cut. Phew!
Then she wrapped my hair in a towel and put it up like a turban. I looked just like those grown up women at real spas and salons!
Next I got a facial and rub down. She said baking soda would be good for my skin. I don't know if that's true (I mean, that's not what she uses on herself!), but I trusted her.
Then I was finally able to put on some comfy clothes. I must admit, I did feel fresh and clean.
Then, just for fun, I let her put some curlers in my hair. I'm not one for curls usually, but NewMom seemed so determined to see me in them.
I was nervous it wouldn't look so good... I felt a little silly...
After all the rollers were in, she wrapped a scarf around my head. That really felt silly, but she said grown-up ladies always wear scarves to cover their curlers. But I still think I looked like I should have been making pancakes.
That evening, I was so tired from being fussed over so much, I fell asleep on the couch watching TV.
In the morning, the rollers came out.
I think it looked way too girly, but NewMom seemed to like it.
She asked me to put on girly clothes. I usually prefer jeans and t-shirts, but a skirt every now and then is okay. But I still look like such a girl!
Well, thanks for letting me tell you about my day! I can't wait to tell you all about it when she forces me to do this again. Bye!
