One afternoon, Wendy and Ashley, on a day trip to the 1800s, take a nice walk with their horse.
Suddenly a bee lands on Jackson's nose.
Wendy hurriedly shoos the pest away from the horse and Ashley, who is allergic.
But the bee alerted them to a pretty, daisy filled patch on land nearby.
The girls plop down and start picking some of the lovely daisies.
And while Ashley attentively gives the horse a snack...
Wendy makes a gift for her friend.
"This is for you," Wendy said, handing the daisy wreath to Ashley. "You should have something almost as pretty as you are."
"Aww, thank you!" Ashley exclaimed, placing the wreath on her head. "And I want you to have my bouquet."
So the girls spent some time just enjoying the lovely day...
The two girls and the horse, that is.
"We'll be friends forever!"
Before the girls head home, Wendy heads to the creek to get some water to refresh their horse.
On her way, she sees Taylor standing near a tree.
"Hello, Taylor!" Wendy called.
Wendy walked up to Taylor and then sat down, in need of a little rest. "Hello, Wendy! I've just been gathering apples for a pie... but I didn't really get enough," Taylor explained.
Taylor and Wendy returned to Ashley. Ashley and Taylor, who are very good friends, were excited to see one another.
"Ashley, you look like a princess!" Taylor exclaimed, taking a big bow.
And as she did that, one of her apples fell...
And Jackson hurriedly gobbled it up.
"Jackson!" Ashley scolded. "It isn't nice to eat things that don't belong to you!"
"Oh, don't give it another thought!" Taylor said. "In fact, why don't we all have a little snack? I have three left."
So the three girls sat in a shady spot to enjoy their juicy and tasty apples.
After their snack, the three girls take a little nap on the soft prairie grass.
Soon, the girls wake up and decide to ride home.
"Goodbye!"
