Is this post really just supposed to sit there with no screw?
Post, before and after polishing.
Left inlane, test fitting overlay (yes, it's very blue)
Left inlane damage, before overlay
Closeup of the damaged area at the base of the left ramp
Same damaged area covered up with my handmade overlay
Bride face #1 after hand-polishing with PowerCut#2. It looks pretty good but I'm going to attempt to use the drill on it anyhow.
Center of Bride's head, prior to cleaning with powercut, but after cleaning as best I could with Bleche-Wite. Notice ball trails leading to top of each eye socket.
Space shuttle area before overlay
Space shuttle area after overlay
Center of bride's head after cleaning. Notice especially how clear the bevels are in the eye socket cutouts.
Here you can see the lint from my towel, and how it compares to the remaining blemishes in the plexiglass.
Almost zero sign of ball tracks, and pitting is minimal. After polishing with powercut #3 and #2.
